That is what our hosting and maintenance agreements are for. Many of the sites we build stay with us after launch: clinics, architects, trades and service businesses that would rather spend their time on customers.

Why static
Why our sites need less maintenance
A large part of traditional website maintenance is keeping a CMS, a theme and a stack of plugins updated, compatible and secure. Skip the updates and the site becomes a security risk. Run them and something may break.
We build static sites. There is no plugin to update, no database to hack and no admin panel exposed to the internet. That means maintenance time goes into improving the site instead of keeping it alive. Read more on our static website agency page.

- Month to month. Cancel to the end of any month, no notice fee.
- You own it. The website, content and design are yours once the project is paid.
- Clean exit. If you leave, we hand over the files and help with the move.

What is included in website maintenance?
At minimum: hosting, security, backups, SSL, uptime checks and software updates. A good plan also covers small content changes, like new team members, updated prices or a new case, without a new quote every time.
Is there a contract or lock-in period?
No. Our hosting and maintenance agreements run month to month and can be cancelled to the end of any month, with no notice fee. If you leave, we hand over the files for your website and help with a proper handover.
Do I own my website if you host it?
Yes. Once the project is paid in full, you own the website, the content and the design. Hosting with us is a service, not a hostage situation.
Can you maintain a website you did not build?
We mainly maintain sites we have built, because we know exactly how they work. For sites built elsewhere, we start with a review, and often the honest recommendation is a redesign or a move to a static site that is cheaper to keep running.
How much do website maintenance packages cost?
Published market pricing for small business maintenance plans in the US runs roughly $50-$200 a month. We collected the levels in our website design cost guide. Our own agreements are priced per site, based on what it needs.
What happens if my site goes down?
You write or call us, and we look at it. Because our sites are static and have no plugins or database to break, it rarely happens, but when something is wrong you reach the person who built the site.
