We are a small static website agency focused on headless website development: sites that are built ahead of time, served as clean HTML and connected to a headless CMS when your team needs one. The result loads fast, has very little to break or hack and costs less to run.

Why we build static sites
Most small business websites do not need a server and database to rebuild every page for every visitor. The content changes a few times a month, not a few times a second. Building the pages ahead of time removes a whole layer of cost, risk and delay.

Pages are built ahead of time and served as finished HTML from servers close to the visitor. There is nothing to assemble per request, so there is little to slow down.

No public admin login, no plugins, no database behind the page. The most common ways small business sites get hacked simply do not exist.

Not every site needs a CMS. When yours does, for a blog, a team page that changes often or a catalog of projects, we connect a headless CMS so editors get a friendly interface and the site stays static. We choose the CMS based on who edits and how often, not on what is fashionable this year.
For sites with hundreds of similar pages, such as locations, products or integrations, the same approach generates every page from structured data. That is the basis of programmatic SEO.

We build new static sites from scratch as part of our web design work. If you already have a WordPress site with traffic and rankings, the move needs a plan for URLs, redirects and content. What is a static website?
A site where every page is generated ahead of time as a finished HTML file, instead of being assembled by a server and database each time someone visits. It can still look and behave like any modern website, with forms, animations and rich content.
What is headless website development?
Headless means the content management and the front end are separate. Editors work in a CMS, and the website pulls content from it through an API when the site is built. You get an editing experience for your team and a fast, custom front end for visitors.
Is Jamstack the same as a static site?
Close. Jamstack is a name for the approach of pre-rendering pages and adding dynamic features through JavaScript and APIs. In practice, most Jamstack sites are static sites with some interactive parts, which is how we build.
Can I edit a static site myself?
Yes, if you want to. We can connect a headless CMS so your team edits content in a browser. Many clients prefer to send changes by email as part of a maintenance agreement, and both options work.
Do you build with Astro?
Yes. Astro is one of the frameworks we use for static and content-heavy sites, including this one. The framework matters less than the result: fast pages, clean code and a site that is easy to own.
Can a static site have forms, booking or ecommerce?
Forms and booking, yes, through form handlers and embedded booking tools. Simple ecommerce can work through hosted checkouts. Large shops with complex catalogs are usually better on a dedicated ecommerce platform.
