Website speed optimization services. Faster pages for the visitors you already have.
Our website speed optimization services make slow sites fast: we find what is holding your pages back, fix what matters most and show you the before and after in Core Web Vitals and Lighthouse. It works on the site you have today, whatever it is built on.
The cost of slow
A slow page loses people before it says anything
Visitors do not wait. On a phone with a weak connection, every extra second of blank screen sends some of them back to the search results, often straight to a competitor. You paid for that visit with ads, content or years of SEO work.
Speed also feeds into how Google judges your pages. It is not the strongest ranking factor, but in competitive searches it is one of the few you fully control.
Core Web Vitals
What Google measures
Google uses three Core Web Vitals to describe how a page feels to real visitors. These are the thresholds for a good result.
| Metric | What it measures | Good |
|---|---|---|
| Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) | How fast the main content appears | 2.5 s or less |
| Interaction to Next Paint (INP) | How quickly the page responds to taps and clicks | 200 ms or less |
| Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) | How much the layout jumps while loading | 0.1 or less |
Usual suspects
What usually makes a website slow
-
Oversized images
Photos uploaded straight from a camera or stock site, served at full size to a phone. Often the single biggest win.
-
Too much JavaScript
Sliders, chat widgets, tracking tags, page builder scripts. Each one blocks or delays what the visitor came to see.
-
Plugins and themes
On WordPress, every plugin adds code to every page, whether that page needs it or not. Ten plugins is common. Forty is not rare.
-
Slow hosting
Cheap shared hosting and no caching mean the server takes a long time before it sends the first byte.
-
Layout that jumps
Images, fonts and banners that load late and push content around. Annoying for visitors, and measured by Google.
The service
How our page speed optimization service works
1. Measure
We look at field data where it exists, lab tests on your most important templates and what actually loads on each page. You get a short, readable list of problems ranked by impact.
2. Fix what matters most
Images, scripts, fonts, caching, hosting and layout shifts, in the order that gives the most speed for the effort. We do not rebuild what does not need rebuilding.
3. Show the result
Before and after numbers on the same pages, so you can see what changed. Field data in Google takes a few weeks to catch up, and we check it again when it has.

Optimize or rebuild
When optimizing is not enough
Sometimes the honest answer is that the platform is the problem. A heavy theme with dozens of plugins can be made faster, but not fast, and every update risks undoing the work. In that case we will show you the numbers and what a rebuild would look like.
We build fast sites from scratch as a static website agency, and we move existing sites through a WordPress to static migration without losing links. Speed work on the code and indexing side of SEO is covered under technical SEO services.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Does page speed affect Google rankings?
Yes, as part of Google's page experience signals, which include Core Web Vitals. Speed will not make a weak page rank, but a slow page gives a competitor an easy advantage, and it loses visitors before they read anything.
What are good Core Web Vitals scores?
Google considers Largest Contentful Paint of 2.5 seconds or less, Interaction to Next Paint of 200 milliseconds or less and Cumulative Layout Shift of 0.1 or less as good, measured on real visitors at the 75th percentile.
Can you speed up a WordPress site?
Usually, yes. Images, caching, plugin cleanup and script loading can make a big difference. If the theme and plugins are the core problem, it can be cheaper in the long run to move to a static site, and we will tell you honestly when that is the case.
Is a 100 PageSpeed score necessary?
No. The score is a lab test and a useful guide, but what matters is how fast the site feels for real visitors, which Google measures as field data. We aim for passing Core Web Vitals first and high Lighthouse scores second.
How long does speed optimization take?
Quick wins on a typical small business site can often be done within a couple of weeks. Deeper work on themes, templates or hosting takes longer, and we agree the scope after the first analysis.
