MediaVikings is led by Jacob Gade Hartmann from Randers, Denmark, with a small network of specialists. We have built 50+ websites for clients and run our own products: 8 apps in the App Store and web products that bring in tens of thousands of visitors a month from search. You talk to the person who designs and builds your site, not an account manager.
Our own site, mediavikings.dk, scores 100 in all four Lighthouse categories. Client sites are held to the same standard.

Custom websites designed around keyword research, fast static builds and hosting with changes handled by email. We also design landing pages, handle website redesigns without losing rankings and move sites from WordPress to static. Search is part of how we build, and ongoing SEO is available on its own.

Frequently asked questions
Do you only work with Danish companies?
No. We work with clients in Denmark, the US, the UK and the rest of Europe. Simply Solutions in Columbus, Ohio is one of our US clients. Everything happens remotely, by email and video calls.
Are you based in Copenhagen?
We are based in Randers, in Jutland, and work with clients all over Denmark, including Copenhagen, and abroad. For web projects, location matters much less than communication, and we meet by video or in person when it makes sense.
How do you handle GDPR on client websites?
We build privacy-friendly by default: forms that collect only what is needed, minimal third-party scripts and tracking set up with consent in mind. We are not lawyers, so your privacy policy and specific obligations should be confirmed by your own advisor.
Can you build a website in several languages?

How do payments and contracts work with a Danish agency?
Projects are invoiced 50% at the start and 50% at launch. Hosting and maintenance run month to month with no lock-in. Our terms are simple and in plain language, and you own your website once it is paid.
