Real estate website design. Win the area, not just the listing.
Our real estate website design helps independent agents and brokerages build a site that the big portals cannot copy: deep neighborhood pages, a strong seller enquiry path, agent profiles with real proof and listings through your IDX provider. Fast and photo-rich on any phone.
The problem
You cannot out-list the portals
Buyers browse listings on the big portals, and no independent agent can match them on inventory. Trying to is expensive and pointless. What the portals cannot do is know your neighborhoods, show your track record or make a seller feel they have found the right person.
A good real estate website plays to that strength. Listings are part of it, but the pages that win business are about places, people and results.
Structure
The pages that win business for agents
| Page | Who it is for | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Neighborhood and area pages | Buyers and sellers | Local knowledge that ranks and builds trust |
| Home valuation / sell with us | Sellers | The most valuable lead a site can bring in |
| Listings via IDX | Buyers | Search current homes without leaving your brand |
| Sold properties | Sellers | Proof you get results in their area |
| Agent profiles | Everyone | Faces, areas, languages, reviews |
| Buyer and seller guides | First-timers | Answers that start a relationship |
Listings
IDX and listings, handled sensibly
Listings come from your MLS through an IDX provider. We integrate the provider you use, or help you choose one, and design the rest of the site around it so the listing search feels like part of your brand. Rules for how listings are shown are set by your MLS and provider, and we follow them.
We keep the heavy search tools away from the pages that should be fastest, like area pages and the seller path, so they still load quickly on a phone.
Honesty
What we bring, and what we do not
We have not built a real estate website yet. What we have built are large, local, image-heavy sites that bring in enquiries. Hellerup Dog Walk has a 105-page website with a steady flow of enquiries through it. Provendi, a studio that builds trade show stands and showrooms, got a custom site that shows off physical spaces. And our own sites, like unfollowcheck.com with around 30,000 visitors a month, show we know how to build pages that rank.

Area pages
Real estate website design for local search
Buyers and sellers search by place. A page for each neighborhood, town or district you work in, with real local knowledge, photos and recent sales, gives you a chance to rank where generic portal pages feel thin. We plan these pages from real search data and build them to stay useful, not as copies with the name swapped.
For the design principles we use on image-heavy sites, see architect website design. For what running a site costs after launch, see website maintenance.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What should a real estate website include?
Listings, a page for each neighborhood or area you work in, agent profiles, reviews and recent sales, a home valuation or seller enquiry path, buyer and seller guides, and clear contact options. On a phone, all of it has to load fast despite the photos.
Can you add IDX or MLS listings to our website?
Yes, through the IDX provider you use or choose, which licenses the feed from your MLS. Depending on the provider, listings are embedded in the site or run on a connected search page. MLS and IDX rules are set by your MLS and provider, and we work within them.
Do you have real estate clients?
Not yet, and we will not claim otherwise. We have built large, local, image-heavy sites, like a 105-page site for a Danish service business, and fast sites for US clients. We bring that experience and are upfront about where our real estate knowledge comes from.
Will neighborhood pages help us rank on Google?
They can, if they are genuinely useful: real local knowledge, photos, schools, commute, prices and recent sales, not a template with the name swapped. Buyers and sellers search by area, and good area pages are one of the few places an independent agent can outrank the big portals.
Can agents in our brokerage have their own pages?
Yes. Each agent gets a profile with photo, areas, languages, reviews and contact details, and the brokerage keeps one consistent brand.
