Keyword research services. Know which searches bring buyers before you build a single page.
Our keyword research services map how your customers search, how often, and what Google shows them today. The result is not a long list of keywords but a page plan: which pages to build, which searches each page targets, and in what order.
The problem
Most sites are built around what the company calls things
Service names, product names and internal jargon rarely match what people type into Google. A grant consultancy might call itself a "funding partner" while its clients search for "grant writer near me". The page exists, but nobody finds it.
Keyword research closes that gap. It shows you the words your market actually uses, which of those searches have buying intent, and which are realistic to rank for with the site you have.
How we work
From search data to a page plan.
-
Start from your business, not a tool
What you sell, who buys it, what a customer is worth and which markets matter. This decides which searches are worth chasing, long before any search volume is pulled.
-
Map the whole search landscape
Every way your customers describe the problem, the solution and the provider. Including the long, specific searches that tools under-report but that convert best.
-
Read the search results
For the important searches we look at what actually ranks today. That tells us what Google thinks the searcher wants, whether a service page or an article fits, and how strong the competition really is.
-
Group searches into pages
Searches that share a result page belong on one page. Searches with different results need their own. This is where most keyword lists go wrong, and where cannibalization starts.
-
Prioritize
Each page gets a rough estimate of value and effort, so you know which pages to build first and which to skip.
Deliverable
What the keyword research gives you
- A page plan: every page worth building, its primary keyword and its supporting searches.
- Search volumes for the markets that matter to you, such as the US, UK or specific European countries.
- Intent and page type for each group: service page, pricing guide, comparison, location page.
- Competition notes: who ranks today and whether they are beatable.
- A priority order so the first pages you build are the ones most likely to pay off.
The plan also flags existing pages that compete with each other, and pages that should be merged. That alone often lifts rankings without writing anything new.

A US grant consultancy went from a homepage where Google could read 46 words to 20 pages built to rank, scoring 100/100 in Lighthouse SEO.
Search intent
Volume is not the point
A keyword with 50 searches a month from people ready to hire can be worth more than one with 5,000 from students writing essays. We rank opportunities by intent and fit first, and volume second. That is also why we look at the live search results: they show what Google believes the searcher wants.
If your site already exists and you are not sure the problem is keywords, an SEO audit is often the better starting point. If you need many similar pages built from data, such as locations or product variants, see programmatic SEO.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What do keyword research services include?
Ours include research into how your customers search, search volumes for the relevant markets, an analysis of what currently ranks, a grouping of keywords into pages, and a prioritized page plan. You get a spreadsheet plus a short written summary.
Why pay for keyword research when tools exist?
Tools give you numbers, not decisions. The work is in deciding which searches have buying intent, which ones belong on the same page, and which you can realistically win with your domain. That takes judgment and a look at the actual search results.
How many keywords will I get?
As many as the market has, grouped into a manageable number of pages. A local service business might end up with 10-20 pages worth building. A product sold in many markets can have hundreds.
Can you do keyword research for several countries or languages?
Yes. People search differently in each market, so we research each one separately rather than translating an English list. See our international SEO page for more.
Do you write the pages as well?
We can. Many clients use the research as the brief for SEO copywriting or a new site. Others hand it to their own team.
